KOKATHA AND COMPLETE JOINT VENTURE

The Kokatha People are the Traditional Owners of a large section of the land in the north of South Australia. This includes the land surrounding the world’s largest mine – BHP Billiton’s Olympic Dam Project located at Roxby Downs and the OZ Minerals Carrapateena Project.

Kokatha Mining Services Pty Ltd (KMS) is a 100% Aboriginal owned company that provides support capability, by way of direct and associate relationships, to mining and civil contractors through its cultural and heritage services, general mining, civil works, plant, equipment and labour hire services.

KMS has established successful relationships with various projects in the region, and is in a joint venture with Complete Personnel Group’s Indigenous division. The Kokatha Complete Joint Venture addresses the labour hire requirements throughout the mid-upper north of South Australia.

The aim is to deliver quality and safety focused recruitment services. With cultural authority, networks and understanding, we are making a valuable contribution in this region.

Kokatha Complete Joint Venture is a preferred supplier for local employment opportunities at Carrapateena Mine under licence from Oz Minerals.
