Complete Recruitment’s on-hire staffing service provides a flexible and cost-effective staffing solution for your business, where you have access to skilled staff when you need them, and for the duration you want them.

They are on our payroll, not yours. On-hire employees are available on a day-to-day basis, for the period of a special project. You can even outsource all or part of your workforce.

On-Hire Recruitment Methodology

At Complete Recruitment we have hundreds of on-hire employees on assignment every week and each has been through our stringent selection process. All are comprehensively inducted and monitored under our performance management system.

Assignment Evaluation

Once an on-hire employee is placed on assignment our evaluation and partnering quality control procedures are put in place. We make contact during the first day to ascertain your assessment of the on-hire’s performance and satisfaction with our service. This process continues throughout the duration of the assignment with regular site visits, quality surveys and telephone check-ups.

Any performance or service issues will be acted upon immediately. Should it be necessary, our Account Manager will undertake an on-site performance appraisal.

Service 24 hours

The on-hire service is available 24 hours, 7 days per week to cater for your needs and any urgent work health and safety issues. If you require this service, your Account Manager will inform you of the process.


Our on-hire staffing pricing structure is based on the occupation, location and duration of assignment. As the legal employer of the on-hire employee, our charge rates are inclusive of the following direct costs and protections:

Regardless of the reason, if you hire an on-hire individual on a permanent basis before the agreed transfer milestone, we offer a pro-rata placement fee.

  • Our aim is to supply suitably qualified, experienced and competent employees within the timeframes agreed. Complete Recruitment offers a comprehensive 90-day replacement guarantee against unsuccessful placement.
  • We arrange for the client to interview short listed candidates either at their worksite or at a Complete Personnel office. We are also available to assist throughout the interview process if necessary.
  • Suitably qualified candidates who form the shortlist are forwarded to the client for consideration. Your consultant will prepare a confidential Candidate Report which provides the candidate’s personal details, education and employment summary, availability, testing results, remuneration expectations, detailed resume, profiling the candidate against the brief.
  • Before referring any candidates to a client, we undertake a minimum of two reference checks with previous employers to validate the candidate’s skills, knowledge and personal attributes.
  • Comprehensive and documented interviews are conducted using behavioural interview techniques. Set questions are developed for each position based on the competencies required.
  • If required, candidates undertake rigorous skills evaluations. We utilise an extensive online assessment system to assess candidate skills. We also have access to a wide range of psychometric assessments to reduce the risk of an unsuitable hire. Assessments available include cognitive ability, work preferences, values, behavioural profiles, safety, integrity and emotional intelligence.
  • We undertake checks to confirm the identity of all short-listed candidates to ensure that candidates are who they say they are.
  • An initial telephone pre-screening is conducted with candidates prior to an interview to determine the skills and experience of candidates.
