Complete Personnel Group Privacy Policy
Protecting your privacy and the confidentiality of your personal information is central to the way we do business. As an employment agency the members of the Complete Personnel Group have a proven history of handling personal information confidentially.
The members of the Complete Personnel Group are Complete Personnel SA Pty Ltd and Complete Personnel Australia Pty Ltd trading as Complete Personnel, Staff easy Pty Ltd Trading as Staff easy, Complete Personnel Recruitment and Complete Apprenticeship and Traineeship Services, and Access Training SA Pty Ltd.
This policy outlines how we handle your personal information including the use and disclosure of your personal information, as well as your right to access your personal information. This policy only applies to our databases and files and does not cover any State, Territory or Commonwealth Government database or file. You are advised to contact the relevant government agency for a copy of their privacy policy.
How we collect your personal information
Where practical we collect most personal information directly from you. For example, if you are a job seeker we may collect personal information when you fill in an application form at one of our offices to register for employment. We may collect personal information about you when you deal with us by telephone, letter, fax, e-mail, or visit our web site.
Generally, the type of personal information we collect about you is the information requested in our Registration Form and your resume. For example, your name and mailing address, telephone number, e-mail address, Centrelink ID number, date of birth, employment, education and qualification history, the type of work you are seeking, if you identify yourself as Indigenous, a person with a disability or a Sole Parent. In some circumstances we may also collect sensitive information such as your health details (including any disabilities), your racial and ethnic origin, barriers to employment, or any criminal record that you may have. Where we collected this information we will gain your consent.
We collect your personal information in order to provide you employment and related services, including:
- Preparing or placing job seekers into employment;
- Providing Job Network services to job seekers and employers.
There may be occasions when we need to source personal information about you
from a third party. For example, we may collect personal information from a referee
that you have nominated in your resume or previous employers identified in your
Registration for Employment form.
As a contracted service provider to the Commonwealth Government of Australia
to provide employment and associated services, we may also collect personal information
from Commonwealth Government departments and agencies such as:
- The Department of Employment and Workplace Relations, and
- Centrelink
At, or as soon as practicable after, Complete Personnel collects your personal information we will take reasonable steps to ensure that you are made aware of:
- Complete Personnel's identity and how you can contact us;
- your rights with regard to accessing your personal information;
- the purpose for which your personal information was collected;
- to whom we usually disclose your personal information;
- any law that requires us to collect particular personal information; and
- the main consequences, if any, for you if you do not provide all or part of the information we require.
If you do not provide us with the information we seek we may be limited in our ability to provide you with our services.
How we use and disclose your personal information
We may use and disclose your personal information for the purposes it was
collected, or for a related or ancillary purpose such as providing you with one
of our employment and related services.
We may disclose your personal information to:
- potential employers;
- organisations that conduct competency or psychometric tests;
- referees;
- suppliers of services to us;
- our related entities;
- We may disclose your personal information where we are under a legal duty to do so, including circumstances where we are under a lawful duty of care to disclose information.
- If you are a customer in a Job Network capacity, we are required to share your personal information with DEWRSB and Centrelink for monitoring and wage verification purposes.
We may engage third party contracts for some of our employment and associated
services; for example, we may provide your details to our contract Psychologist
to provide services to you might have requested. In these situations, we take
reasonable steps to prohibit the third party contractors from using personal
information about you except for the specific purpose for which we supply it.
The Complete Personnel Group does not disclose your personal
information to third parties for the purposes of allowing them to direct market
their products and services.
If you do not consent to the collection and certain uses of personal information, we will not be able to provide you with a particular service.
We keep your personal information up-to-date
If we have accurate personal information about you, it enables us to provide you with the best possible service. We take reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information is accurate, complete and up-to-date whenever we collect or use it. If personal information we hold about you is inaccurate, incomplete or out-of-date, please contact us immediately and we will correct it.
Identifiers
Complete Personnel Group will not adopt as its own identifier an identifier
that has been assigned by a government agency.
Where practicable the Complete Personnel Group will not use or disclose an identifier
assigned to an individual by a government agency.
We store your personal information securely
We protect any personal information that we hold from misuse and loss. We also protect it from unauthorised access, modification and disclosure.
Only authorised users can access your personal information, and access is only for approved purposes. Your personal information may be stored in hardcopy documents, as electronic data, or in Complete Personnel software or systems, or in DEWR IES (EA 3000) Database.
We maintain physical security over our paper and electronic data stores and premises, such as locks and security systems. We also maintain computer and network security; for example, we use firewalls (security measures for the Internet) and other security systems such as user identifiers and passwords to control access to computer systems. In addition, all employees and contractors sign confidentiality agreements as a condition of working for the Complete Personnel Group. We also take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify personal information if it is no longer required for any purpose.

Collecting your Personal Information
You can travel through most of our site without giving us any personal information
about yourself.
We will ask you when we need information that personally identifies you (personal
information) or allows us to contact you. Generally, this information is requested
when you are asked to complete a form in order for us to send you some information,
or record your details to match you against suitable vacancies.
We will only record your e-mail address if you send us a message. This information
will only be used for the purpose for which you have provided it and will not
be added to a mailing list. We will not use your e-mail address for any other
purpose, and will not disclose it, without your consent.
Information collected on the Complete Personnel Group site may be shared within
the Complete Personnel Group, including its controlled subsidiaries and affiliates.

Statistical Data
From time to time we may gain aggregated site-visitation statistics including the following information: your server address, your top level domain name (for example .com, .gov, .au, .uk etc), the date and time of visit to the site, the pages accessed and documents downloaded, the previous site visited, and the type of browser used. This information is not specific to an individual and is used for system administration purposes, as well as statistical analysis. You can access your information
You can gain access to the personal information we hold about you, and you may be able to correct that information if you determine that it is incorrect. To request for access to the personal information we hold about you to be sent to you, you will be required to complete a Personal Information Access Request form. This form can be obtained from your consultant or from any other staff member. Your request will be forwarded to our Privacy Co-coordinator who will action your request.
The Complete Personnel Group may recover from you its reasonable cost of supplying
you with this information. Your request to provide information will be dealt
with in a reasonable time.
There may be some cases where we are unable to provide you access to your personal
information; however individual member of the Complete Personnel Group will explain
the reasons why this access was denied.
Resolving your concerns or inquiries
If you believe that the privacy of your personal information
has been compromised, you are entitled to complain. We will respond to your complaint
as soon as possible but within 2 working days, to let you know who is responsible
for managing your complaint. We will try to resolve the complaint within 10 working
